There are no entry requirements for this course and no previous musical theatre experience is necessary.
Week 1 £90 for 3 days - Ages 5 - 8
Week 2 £150 for 5 days - Ages 9 - 14
Early bird offer, 10% discount if paid in full by 30th June. (Week 1 £81. Week 2 £135)
Relative discount. 10% off each ADDITIONAL child if booking for 2 or more siblings/relatives.

This course is £30 per child, per day and requires a minimum deposit of £30 to secure your spot. There will be no refunds for cancellations after 31st July 2024. Full T&C's can be found at the bottom of this page.

Meet our crew
Frances Leigh
Owner/Coach
Frances began her dance journey at the age of 11 after being enrolled at her local dance school, as an attempt to over come her childhood shyness. Once placed on a stage, she absolutely came to life!
She then attended regular classes in acting, singing and dancing completing multiple examinations and flourishing in numerous amateur and professional stage performances. During this time she also learned to play the drums.
At 13 Frances was the first student in her dance school to obtain a Jazz scholarship with the BBO in London being tutored by some of the best teachers in the country.
At 18 she went on to complete further training at SLP college of performing arts in Leeds.
After graduating she went on to work in the industry performing in multiple stage productions such as, Little Red Riding Hood, Dick Whittington, Robbin Hood, Aladdin, Back to the land, Sussical, The Chartists, SA work for Casualty and Pobol Y Cwm, to name a few.
After covid hit, she then turned her passion to teaching to pass on her knowledge to the next generation. She has been a dance TA, taught in after school dance clubs and frequently runs weekly dance classes in the local area, specialising in Jazz, Musical Theatre and Ballet.
Claudia Adshead
Coach
Claudia is a born performer! Discovering she could dance at a young age, she attended weekly dance classes, specialising in Street, Hip Hop and Commercial.
Claudia then went on to compete in multiple dance competitions, completing dance exams and performing in regular dance shows.
At the age of 10, Claudia started singing lessons with RNCM trained, singing tutor, training in classical, musical theatre and folk music and now sings in a party/ function style band, gigging across the UK.
Although Claudia was passionate for the stage, she really grew a love for screen acting after attending weekly classes at the well established, Carol Godby Theatre Workshop, Bury, Manchester.
Claudia was then able to gain representation for her acting which has led her to work on several, high profile productions such as Sacha Barren Cohens ‘Grimsby’, Paul Abbott’s crime drama series ‘No Offence’, ‘Coronation Street’, well known commercials and most recently featured in ‘Hollyoaks’!
Claudia has 5+ years experience in leading workshops for dance, singing, musical theatre and acting for screen.
It’s what she loves more than anything!

Your little stars are in safe hands! All of our coaches hold a clean enhanced DBS check, are trained in safe guarding and are up to date with their first aid training.

As dictated by the government, there are an appropriate number of care givers to the number of children under our supervision.
Lunch is NOT included in this package and students must bring their own food and drinks.
There will be no refunds for cancellations after 31/07/2024.
Refunds after the cut off date may be considered if you are injured with supporting doctors note.
This course is £30 per child, per day and requires a minimum deposit of £30 to secure your spot.
Any outstanding balances will be invoiced to you via email and will be due no later than 2 weeks prior to start date. Any outstanding balances due after this date will incur a late fee at 2% per day.
There will be a 10% discount for anyone who wishes to pay in full before 30/06/2024.
There is a 10% discount for additional participants, when booking for multiple children.
Upstage will not be responsible for any transport to and from the venue.
Any persons collecting a child who is not their designated parent/guardian must state our assigned 'release' word upon collection.
Upstage may substitute the teaching faculty advertised without prior notice. We will do our best to update you of any changes via the website or email if this change is a necessity.
